Commissioned by The Ella Roberta Foundation and unveiled in Mountsfield Park, Hither Green, London by the Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan.

Ella died as a result of a severe asthma attack caused by illegal levels of air pollution near her home in London. She remains the only person in the world to have air pollution listed as a cause of death on her death certificate.

Her Mother Rosamund continues to campaign to raise awareness about the dangers of air pollution for people’s health.

I would like to thank the artist Hannah Stewart who has been the most thoughtful and gracious custodian of Ella’s statue.  We as a family are forever grateful for her care and wonderful talents.
