This life size bronze sculpture was commissioned by Kier for the new Tesco store at Hailsham to celebrate the history of rope making in the area. The rope maker pulls on three 'ropes' which form the boundary fence round the car park. The ends of the ropes form three painted bronze coils at the entrance to the car park.
